Children’s Publishing Academy / EK Books, Your Marvellous Mind Pitching Competition (2026)
I was delighted to contribute as part of the wider judging panel for this children’s book pitching competition, which invited story ideas exploring neurodiversity, difference, and emotional experience. I reviewed a selection of entries and shared feedback, with a focus on authentic representation, emotional truth, and the power of picture books to help children feel seen, supported, and understood.

I facilitated a monthly picture book critique group for writers and illustrators, focused on supportive, practical feedback and craft growth. This chapter has now wrapped up, and I’m proud of what we built together.

I created the endpaper artwork for Hipkiss Publishing House’s limited-edition hardcover of Moby Dick by Herman Melville, illustrated by Emma Stuart. With only 750 copies available, this special edition brings together classic storytelling, illustration, map artwork, chapter headers, and a dust jacket for collectors and book lovers.
