Submit Your Review Files

After purchasing your review, please complete the review submission form and upload your file there.

For normal files under 10 MB, use the file upload field.

For larger files over 10 MB, please paste a Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer link into the file link box instead.

If you are using Google Drive, upload the file to your own Google Drive, right click the file, choose Share, change access to Anyone with the link, then copy and paste the link into the form.

If you are using Dropbox, upload the file, click Share, create or copy the link, then paste it into the form.

If you are using WeTransfer, upload the file, choose the link option if available, copy the transfer link, then paste it into the form.

Yes. I’ll send you a personal confirmation email within 24 hours to let you know I have received everything needed for your review.

Your review will begin once both payment and files have been received.

Please allow 7 working days to receive your written review.

Working days do not include weekends or public holidays.

You will receive clear written notes with what is working, what may need strengthening, and three next steps.

The review is designed to give you clear direction so you can move forward with more confidence.

A Story Review looks at the big-picture shape of your picture book manuscript, including the heart of the story, character, emotional thread, problem, ending, wordiness and picture book potential.

It does not include proofreading, line editing, rewriting, formatting, publishing advice, or a publishing guarantee.

An Illustration Review looks at one picture book spread, artwork, or visual story moment.

It includes feedback on storytelling, composition, character emotion, colour, mood, text space and visual clarity.

It does not include a redraw, paint-over, technical tutorial, full portfolio review, or publishing guarantee.

Each review covers one manuscript or one illustration.

If you would like feedback on more than one piece, please purchase a separate review for each one.

Please send the version you would like reviewed when you complete the submission form.

Updated versions may not be included once the review has started, unless I specifically request another file from you.

Yes. If you have received a Story Review or Illustration Review and would like a quick check on your updated version, you can purchase a Review Check-In.

A Review Check-In is a mini follow-up for the same manuscript or illustration. It is designed to let you know if your changes are heading in the right direction, or if there is still one area that may need adjusting.

This is not a full second review. It does not include detailed notes, a full reassessment, rewriting, editing, a redraw, or a paint-over.

Review Check-Ins must be submitted within 2 months of receiving your original review.

Yes. Your manuscript, illustration and project details will be treated as confidential.

I will not share, publish, copy, post, or discuss your work publicly without your written permission.

After your review has been completed and sent, I will delete your submitted manuscript, illustration and supporting files from my working folders.

I may keep a copy of the completed written review and basic order details for my own records, but your original creative files will not be kept as part of my portfolio or shared anywhere.
